Mygift is very fortunate to still have all of our great new and repeat customers who are able to purchase our wholesale backpacks yearly. And every year we are able to show our gratitude by having the ability to give out a few donations. Although we have our limit of 3 annually, we still would like to be able to help out in any way we can.

Hello i am a parent coordinator, i am the support for my students parents. i represent parent of children with special needs wihich rage from behaviorial to autism. every year I ask tachers to help me help the students in need. Many of our students live in shelters and low income areas, where basic needs are not a first thing on there list, a roof over their heads and a place to stay is. This year with the help from many I was able. to purchase supplies, but fell short when it came to purchase bookbags. I have five schools and my goal is to help 20 students this year if possible.I am aware that im not the only one who is requesting, but i cant use my own money any longer to help others, for my own sons,have taken a back seat,which they understood,but i no longer can do it. if there is anything you can help me with ,it will be a great help. My name is Jamaul Pride, and my wife and I have started up a non-profit organization in Little, Elm TX called Love Trends geared toward organizing projects, programs, and outreach events to connect families with services that are available in the community. In August of 2011, we plan to hold a back to school celebration for the students in the school district. We would like to provide school supplies and back packs for students as welll as provide parents with the tools that can assist them in helping their child succeed in the community as well as in the classroom. We are a church of 45 members strong who are determined to give back to our neighboring community. We have been blessed to have children that have gone off to college who are now teachers, directors of homeless shelters, lawyers and even a Ph.d! We know that this did not happen by osmosis, but by the loving guidance of a caring God and a strong family unit. Since many in our community are lacking in the family unit capacity, we are stepping in and would like to help many of the return to school this year with new backpacks filled with school supplies. What we hear from the teachers that are in our congregation as well as those who have left and have become teachers in other communities, is that often teachers dig into their own pockets to supply pencils and paper to students because of not enough money or interest in education by their parents. We are stepping in because we know that somewhere in our backyard is a budding young person just waiting and willing to work hard given a hand. Manna House is a local food bank serving the Wayne County community. Manna House was started in April of 2000. We give bags of food to an average 300 households each weel. The average number in each family is 3+. We are open three days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. It is our desire to provide back to school back packs filled with school supplies for these households. Our data shows we have 117 ages 4 to 7, 141 ages 8 to 14 and 100 plus ages 15 to 17.
